Little Heart Lantern Craft

A lantern that “glows” when we choose truth.

Supplies

• Small paper cup OR small jar

• Tissue paper (yellow, gold, white)

• Glue stick or Mod Podge

• Battery tea light

• Scissors

• Small heart cutouts (optional)

Activity Description

1. Tear or cut tissue paper into small squares.

2. Cover the outside of the cup/jar with glue and layer the tissue pieces to create a glowing lantern look.

3. Add small paper hearts around the lantern.

4. Place a battery tea light inside and turn it on.

5. Children may write their name on the bottom as a symbol of their own inner light.
