→ touch hands, tap feet, point to face

→ hold up one hand like a puzzle piece and press it
gently into the other palm

→ link fingertips together like connecting

→ cross hands over heart

→ nod head; touch lips then heart

→ reach hands out, link fingers with
neighbor or imaginary friend

→ open arms wide like a sunburst
8.“A puzzle piece within His heart.”
→ draw a heart in the air, end with hands

Every child is a piece in God’s great picture.
Your piece is special—no one else’s fits in your place.
When you tell the truth, you help your piece fit just right.
When you are loving, you help others’ pieces shine.
When you grow and learn, the whole picture becomes more beautiful.
God made you on purpose and for a purpose.

Family reflection
“Love Myself and Others”: Sit in a circle with small mirrors. Let each child look at their face and say one thing they
love about how God made them. Trace each person’s hand and decorate it. Talk about how those hands can help, comfort, and bless others.
“All About Me” Collage: Provide paper, magazines, or drawings. Children glue their favorite colors, foods, and activities to make a picture of who they are. Display the collages and say: “We celebrate our differences because Heavenly Father made each of us unique.”
“We Celebrate Our Differences”: Make a “Me” poster for each child, adding words and pictures that describe their special talents. Hang them where everyone can see, and end by singing “A Special Place.”
