Personal Shield

Supplies: Cardstock or thin cardboard (cut in a shield shape), crayons or markers, family photos or magazines, scissors, glue

Talk about what a shield does—it protects what’s important.

Have your child fill their shield with pictures or drawings of things they love—family, friends, talents, pets, favorite colors.

At the top, write: “I am a Child of God.”

“Your heart is precious, and God helps you protect it with love, truth, and kindness.”
