Keepers of Light
INVITATION
Step into something more than a class or a club — and enter a sacred circle of light. Keepers of Light is a living journey, patterned after holy women of scripture, history, and modern faith — women who carried light through darkness, built beauty in quiet places, and stood firm as devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. Within this circle, you will be invited to grow in virtue, creativity, and courage through story, symbolism, and sisterhood. You will be learning to tend the light you have been given and to recognize it in others, as you learn to live as a Keeper of Light.

A Word to parents
Dear Parents,
Your daughter has just stepped into something more than a class or club — she has entered a circle of light. Keepers of Light is a 12-part journey designed to help young women grow in virtue, creativity, and discipleship through story, symbolism, and sisterhood.
This program is patterned after sacred women of scripture, history, and modern faith — women who carried light through darkness, built beauty in quiet ways, and stood steady as disciples of Jesus Christ. Each week, your daughter will practice living these same virtues in small but meaningful ways.
The Weekly Rhythm (The Keeper’s Way)
Each gathering follows a simple but powerful pattern:
Gathering Circle – Arrival and presence; opening words of safety, beauty, and strength.
Light Offering – A devotional and story from scripture, a woman of the Restoration, or a modern witness of Christ.
Creative or Service Practice – A hands-on activity tied to the medallion (her Spark).
Reflection & Medallion Ritual – Sharing experiences and, when earned, receiving her medallion.
Keeper’s Oath & Closing Circle – Spoken together as a sisterhood, sealing the light they carry.
The Spark, The Path, and The Promise
Your daughter will grow through a threefold pattern each month:
The Spark – A creative or service activity done in class.
The Path – A group challenge that helps all the Keepers live the month’s virtue in daily life.
The Promise – A personal vow or action she chooses for herself — written, whispered in prayer, or carried out quietly in her own way.
When she has completed her Spark, Path, and Promise, she will receive her medallion in a short, reverent circle — a reminder that she carries that virtue now.
The Poster, Oath, and Medallions
Each girl will receive her Keeper’s poster — a visual record of each medallion earned, along with the personal promises she writes beneath them.
She will also memorize the Keeper’s Oath, spoken aloud at every circle:
I am a Keeper of the Light.
I carry beauty, truth, and kindness wherever I go.
My words heal. My hands create. My spirit shines.
I remember who I am.
I will not forget the light within me and where it comes from.
A Special Word to Mothers
If you are able, we warmly welcome you to participate alongside your daughter.
You may join a gathering, lead a devotional, share a story of a woman of faith, or simply ask her what she is learning. Even a few minutes spent discussing her current Path or sharing your own Promise can become a bonding moment.
We have created posters for mothers, and encourage you to join the journey. Where the girls complete Sparks and Paths, mothers may also choose their own — reading the same devotionals, engaging in acts of quiet service, or journaling reflections on the medallion themes. We hope this will bless your daughter — and it will bless you, too.
At the Heart
At the heart of Keepers of the Light is Jesus Christ — the True Light of the World. Each medallion your daughter earns, each story she hears, each promise she makes is meant to draw her closer to Him.
The center of her mirror bears the reflection of Christ — a sign that she has chosen to walk as His disciple, to see Him in her countenance. Our aim is not perfection, but devotion. We teach gentleness, creativity, courage, and truth — all patterned after the Savior, who comforted the sorrowful, honored His mother, spoke truth with love, and laid down His life for those He loved.
When she is a Keeper of Light, she carries not only a light but His light, and His power goes with her wherever she goes.
With love and gratitude,
Rising Hope’s Keepers of the Light Council
A Word to LEADERS
Dear Keeper Leader,
When you step into the circle of the Keepers of Light, you are not just leading young women through lessons and activities—you are tending a sacred flame. These young women are like lanterns, fragile yet strong, waiting to be filled with light that will guide them through the shadows of the world. Your presence, your words, your gentleness become the oil that helps their flame burn steady. To them, you are a lighthouse on the shore, a reminder that storms can be weathered and that light always prevails over darkness.
This is not a club or a class—it is a sisterhood, a gathering where divine identity is whispered and remembered. The candles in the center, the quiet music, the sharing of God-instances—all these are threads weaving beauty, truth, and faith into their hearts. Each scroll, each medallion, and each small Spark they create becomes a symbol of light preserved, a treasure of the soul they will carry long after the gathering is over.
You carry a weight both tender and eternal: to help these girls see that their light comes from Christ, that it is real, and that it can never be taken from them. This is your honor and your privilege. As a mentor, you walk beside them not as one above, but as a fellow Keeper—holding the lantern high, showing them that their worth is infinite, their voice is needed, and their light matters in a world aching for it.
Shine gently. Shine bravely. Shine with love.
For when one Keeper shines, the whole circle glows.
With Light,
The Keepers of Light Council
