Promise Chain

A chain of kept promises — showing integrity in action.

Supplies

• Strips of colored paper

• Glue or stapler

• Marker

• Optional stickers

Activity Description

1. Give children several strips of paper.

2. On each strip, they write (or dictate) a promise they’ve kept — big or small — during the month.
   Examples: “I cleaned my room,” “I told the truth,” “I helped my brother.”

3. Form the first loop, then link new loops one at a time to create a chain.

4. Hang the chain in the home or class as a visual reminder.
