• Clean water

• Pepper

• Salt

• Spoon

Instructions

1. Fill the bowl with water.

2. Sprinkle pepper on the surface. It floats.

3. Sprinkle salt and watch it dissolve.

4. Stir gently so children can observe each effect.

5. Talk about what they see.
