Sun Catchers

LET THE LIGHT THROUGH

Concept: Every person reflects light differently. When we let God’s light shine through us, the world becomes more colorful.

Materials:

• Clear contact paper or laminating sheets

• Tissue paper squares (yellow, orange, blue, pink)

• Scissors

• Marker and string for hanging

• Optional: black paper frame

Instructions:

1. Cut a window-shaped frame from black paper.

2. Stick tissue squares on one sticky side of the contact paper, overlapping colors.

3. Seal with another sheet of contact paper.

4. Trim edges, punch a hole, and hang near a sunny window.

5. Talk about how each color still lets the light through — just like each of us shares God’s light in a unique way.
