Glow Water Experiment

HIDDEN LIGHT REVEALED

Concept: God’s light can shine even in dark times — sometimes it’s hidden until the right moment.

Materials:

• 1 cup tonic water (contains quinine)

• 1 blacklight flashlight

• Clear glass or jar

• Regular water for comparison

Instructions:

1. Pour tonic water into a clear glass.

2. Turn off the lights or dim the room.

3. Shine the blacklight on the glass — it glows bright blue!

4. Compare with regular water to show how some things glow only when the right light shines on them.

5. Discuss: “Even when we can’t see God’s light, it’s still in us. When we’re close to His Spirit, it glows brighter.”

Safety Tip: Supervise closely. Do not drink tonic water with added sweeteners.
